i can't get the hacking to work on the first hack in deus ex human Revolution , it says hold square then release on the flag to hack but it doesn't do anything.. I'm i just stupid or is there something im missingI can't get the hacking to work on the first hack in deus ex human Revolution for ps3?
You should hold the button down to bring up a little radial menu, move the stick over one of the choices (most likely capture), and then release the button to do that choice.

Edit: Are you clicking on a point that is connected to one that you already have, and isn't on the wrong side of a one-way connection?I can't get the hacking to work on the first hack in deus ex human Revolution for ps3?
Basic tutorial in hacking.



The aim is to create a pathway from your entry point (which will be a highlighted sphere which you should start on) to a similar looking symbol in the web of files. Your entry point will already be taken in order to start so the next thing you need to so is locate where the end point is and what pathway you will take to get there.



After you know where you are going, your ready to start hacking. Hover the cursor over the link next to your start and hold square, then move your left thumbstick and hold it up to select the flag. Release the square button and you should get a percentage meter next to the symbol telling you how far it is to being taken. As soon as one link is taken move to the next and repeat till you get to the end point. Take the end point and the hack is complete.



It doesnt do a good job of explaining it in the tutorial video, dont worry a lot of people hit problems in what exactly they are supposed to do when hacking.I can't get the hacking to work on the first hack in deus ex human Revolution for ps3?
