the lighter, the better but i don't think that's realistic, right? also preferably as close to 15 inches in screen size as possible but again, probably not too common...Best laptop under $1000 that can run the sims 3 and deus ex human revolution well?
6 months ago I bought a desktop for under $1000 (before taxes) that could play all current games.
i know you want a laptop and i would say to do your research before you buy anything. i've heard of people building their own pc, but laptops are better purchased whole. that doesn't mean that you should go to best buy and just pick a random laptop though.
i personally bought my last 3 computers (2 pc, 1 laptop) from dell. i have not had any major problems with the machines and i love their warranties. i still occasionally use my pc i bought from them back in 2003.
the research component comes in when it comes down to choosing what parts u want in your laptop and what is most cost effective. (like, do i splurge for a great graphics card and lower the specs of the other components and vice versa)
i can't give specifics, but i would say, if u want a laptop geared towards gaming, you want: the best processor and graphics card u can reasonably afford.
also, with anything you buy, try to look for internet codes/coupons if u buy your computer online. i found a 100 dollar off coupon when i bought my computer from dell just by typing "dell coupons" in google. good luck with your purchase.
