First of all, the term is "evolution", not "revolution". And secondly, it's "the theory of evolution"......make sure you state it that way because that's all it is and all it ever will be...a theory. The notion of everything we know 'evolving' from something else is complete garbage and there is NO evidence or support for it whatsoever.
Evolution is what the intellectually-deficient people in society cling to.

The two don't have to be mutually exclusive. I personally am not completely averse to the idea that God caused a universe to come into existence wherein natural laws, including the laws of evolution (the theory can be said to be made up of several laws), can take care of themselves. He didn't, and doesn't, need to do any tweaking and prodding, the universe is perfectly capable of running itself.

God said heaven and earth can pass away, but His Word will not pass away. So far so good! And nothing disputes the Word of God on this subject. The gospel is 2000 years old and the Old Testament a lot older.

Deus Ex or Human Revolution?
After looking into the newly released Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I am interested to say the least. However, it has also peaked my interest in the original Deus Ex. Since it is only $10 on Steam, would you recommend getting that game before playing Human revolution? (I'm definitely getting HR eventually no matter what, it's just a matter of when.)Deus Ex or Human Revolution?
Human Revolution captured the Deus Ex experience greatly, and it has less engine restrictions and clunkiness than the first one. I think it's a better game to get into the franchise. The story doesn't have much to do with each other (just set in the same timeline), so you are safe from spoilers. The only major drawback that HR have over the original is probably the lack of horrible voice acting xD Get HR first =]Deus Ex or Human Revolution?

The system is very easy to understand, with meaningful options, and you will end up with a character that supports your game play style after only a few missions worth of xp. If you're not interested in something it doesn't mean you have to bash it, besides Skyrim hasn't been released yet so you haven't seen any proper gameplay.
Deus Ex can be any number of things depending on how you play it. It can be a run and gun shooter if you turn the difficulty down, or it can be a stealth game like splinter cell, or it can be about reading and hacking, or about using social skills to achieve your goals. If you haven't played the originals I'd strongly recommend you picking up a copy on eBay or Steam.
ESV hasn't been released just yet, but it's your standard fantasy RPG with high production values and good detail. Again, if you haven't played Elder Scrolls IV or III, I would again urge you to pick those up.

I would like to pre-order Deus Ex: Human Revolution but I have a doubt about it. I'm afraid I will regret the game. But this game got 10/10 even before the game is released. So, is it worth it?Is Deus Ex: Human Revolution worth pre-order?
It'll be worth it, they pushed it back months to keep tweaking it to give a good experience. I watched 45 minutes of game-play which a developer walked through the game and explained many of the features, but still in those 45 minutes was able to show a small fraction of the choices and skill sets you may choose. If its actually worth the pre-order, well that will depend on where from.
I know Gamestop has a grenade launcher and an explosive device also with an electric lock breaker. Though I don't see the point in cutting out the lock mini-game its a bit like deleting a part of the game. Also, playing stealth is rewarded a bit in the game, I don't think a grenade launcher will aid in that :D However there will also be a cameo mission from the original deus ex character.
The other pre-order package has a double barrel shotgun and a long-range sniper rifle, also additional credits. An easy choice if you ask me.
Some nice benefits, or you can wait and get it used for 5 dollars less in a week. It'll sure to drop before too long, and the other guns will likely be DLC at some point. Both of these games have what you seem to be looking for, but Deus Ex probably MORE so.
Also DX:HR is much better presented, MUCH better soundtrack. Gameplay is a lot more inventive.
HOWEVER I urge you to pick up a copy of the original if you decide to play DX:HR, Even though HR is a prequel, you'll miss out on so much of the game's true quality if you don't play the original. You can pick DX1 up cheaply on Steam or eBay. (I'm assuming you're using a PC here - and if you don't, DX1 will run on even the most dated PC or laptop)
LA Noire sells out because of gimmick minigames which get dry and the plot gets so weak towards the end. DX:HR is a far more solid game in my view but I'm a massive fanboy of the franchise so my opinion is a little biased I suppose.LA Noire or Deus ex human Revolution?

How many hours of gameplay is the campaign of L.A. Noire and Deus Ex Human Revolution?
Its 25 hours if you focus on the main story, but its 40 hours if you include side missions and stuff for deus ex human revolution. L.A Noire is 25-30 hours of gameplay. Hope this helped!

RPG element is how you upgrade your equipment to give you several abilities like invisibility, super jump, enhancements to various stats, etc. Your character progression is based on how you kill your opponents. You can either choose to use stealth (gives you more exp) or go in guns blazing. Both of them work. As I said, gameplay mechanics are quite good.
Replayability? I don't know. Yes, it does have a good deal of side-quests but replayability may just be on how you approach the game and which enhancements you choose. Eg. you could choose a stealthy approach on one walkthrough and a brutal violent approach on the next. Either way, good game. The reviews would tell you the same

6 months ago I bought a desktop for under $1000 (before taxes) that could play all current games.
i know you want a laptop and i would say to do your research before you buy anything. i've heard of people building their own pc, but laptops are better purchased whole. that doesn't mean that you should go to best buy and just pick a random laptop though.
i personally bought my last 3 computers (2 pc, 1 laptop) from dell. i have not had any major problems with the machines and i love their warranties. i still occasionally use my pc i bought from them back in 2003.
the research component comes in when it comes down to choosing what parts u want in your laptop and what is most cost effective. (like, do i splurge for a great graphics card and lower the specs of the other components and vice versa)
i can't give specifics, but i would say, if u want a laptop geared towards gaming, you want: the best processor and graphics card u can reasonably afford.
also, with anything you buy, try to look for internet codes/coupons if u buy your computer online. i found a 100 dollar off coupon when i bought my computer from dell just by typing "dell coupons" in google. good luck with your purchase.

The TOSHIBA Satellite P755 would be a great choice, it has great specs, including a Nvidia graphics setup. It would perform great for these games.

I haven't bought a game for the Xbox for ages, but this one caught my eye. Ive no idea about deus ex but the story with Diablo is not massively important, the games just amazing and massively addictive through its gameplay. If you like RPG like games Diablo is awesome and III looks equally amazing, watch some of the HD videos of the beta on you tube and you'll probably get hooked. I played Diablo II religiously for a long time but never Diablo 1 and the story was good enough in 2 on its own. You should defiantly give it a go.

Deus Ex Human Revolution: I can't upgrade my combat rifle with the target-seeking system. Help?
I'm positive I haven't used it yet. And I'm fairly certain the upgrade can be used on the combat rifle... Right?
=/ I'm trying to go for the gun nut achievement. I know the tranq rifle is the easiest to upgrade, but it's one of my least favorite weapons.

Deus ex human Revolution hostage situation?
so in one of the first REAL missions for deus ex human revolution im asked to handle a hostage situation so i played through the mission but i couldn't find where the hostages are. I need help cause i really want to find them do i have to go there lethal or non lethally. And if not where am i supposed to look. (i would like specifics)Deus ex human Revolution hostage situation?
Actually there are other hostages u can save in that mission:
first of all, before entering into the plant, u can see a number of SWAT police, ask the black guy ( the only one who u can see not wearing his helmet). Select for conversation allows u to get information on this mission, including where the hostages are. He will TELL you.
if that is still a problem, no worries!
Progress the mission as you would, until find a room where u can hear conversation between terrorists arguing about how to handle the dead body after killing one of the hostages (or police), As follows like this:
"no way i am gonna end up in jail because of this"
"he deserves it!"
"...find something to cover his body"
something like this....(sorry for bad memories, but i think that's enough since there is only 1 place in this mission where u can hear this kind of conversation.
That is the room where u find hostages.
Not sure if there is only 1 ways to enter the room (maybe more but i found 1), The door at the second floor.
There are 2 ways to save hostages:
1. Take every enemy down (lethal or non, your call), then go on the stairs which is in the OPPOSITE side of the room to where u head in, Second floor. Find the second floor where the hostages are, save them. (there are only 2 second floors, one is where u head in, hostages are on another.
2. Second way is a cheap shot, once u enter the room if u can manage to get downstairs without getting noticed, that's wonderful. then find your way to RIGHT HAND SIDE to where you are facing when you just got in. just under the stairs, there is a metal box move it then there is a secret path leads you straight to the hostage room. (for your information, during your time moving through secret path you will be sent to move across the top of a pipe ceiling, don't drop lol).
Either way once u get into that room, there is no way turning back, destroy the bomb is your only option. You can either destroy through explosives or hacking to shut it down, it is your call, BUT YOU ONLY HAVE AROUND 25 SECONDS AFTER YOU ENTER THE ROOM.
Note: if u chose explosives to destroy the gas bomb, punch the guy siting just next to the table, don't kill him since u are here to save them, this allows u to drag him away from the bomb on table (otherwise u can't move him) Then plant your explosives. if you don't move the guy, he will be killed by your explosives ! and mission failed. Explosives method will attract a lot of attention, thus takedown enemy before u do this, or u will just get busy on this. It won't change the story if you use this method to save hostages since the guy you punch will give some "repay" later on (mention later), u can still talk to him because SWAT will wake him up :) after the mission is finished.
Save them, u are a hero.
OH, after saving them, u can chit chat with the worker sitting next to the table (mentioned before), he will ask u to save his wife (the hostage Zake holds, name Josie). if you save BOTH of them husband and wife, chat with them before heading to Malik, They will say they will repay u. After this if u log onto Jansen's (or YOUR) computer you will see a e-mail from Josie and his husband, inviting u to their house. Then they will introduce you to another weapon dealer other than the 2 guys in the gas station for permanent discount (discount cuts over 50% it is quite amazing).

In one of the assembly line rooms (large room with the benches and L-shaped workstations), there is an upper area with only an office in it. This one is just before you enter the hallway with the cameras and two guys in the break-room watching TV. Inside the office will be the hostages, but they will warn you not to enter through the door; the bomb sitting in the middle of them also helps point out that fact. You can choose to go in through the door, but in order to rescue the hostages, you have to enter the room through a different way; there is a vent on the back wall of the office which provides a clue. Back on the other side of the main room is a vent which will eventually lead you to the vent behind the office.

In Deus Ex: Human Revolution, can I use the target-seeking and laser-sight mods simultaneously?
Before I sink upgrades into my weapon of choice, I'm wondering if installing the laser sight will ruin my chances with the Target-Seeking system. yes. i used basically every upgrade for my combat rifle and they all work in synch. however you have to manually turn on target seeking once you uprgade.

i would say get the pc version, you can get better graphics, you don't have to pay for gold for it, and you can use a keyboard and mouse which is far better than a pad for shooters (unless your pc specs are quite low, then your 360 might actually be a better option)

When I try to run the game through steam it won't open Data Execution Prevention stops it from opening. I've tried running as admin, changing DEP setting and scouring the web. i am only 13 and i was watching a documentary about trees. Then i got like this idea of half of our body using oxygen and the other half will be using carbon dioxide. So i made a simple research about heart because it controls our respiration and i found out when we breath our heart actually divides the oxygen into 2 so i figured out if one half can only use oxygen and the other half will use carbon dixide. I got the Augmented Edition on PS3 with bonus disk. However, the bonus disk works in none of my computers (none have a blu-ray drive) and my

I'm playing the new Deus Ex Human Revolution, And I'm trying to be stealthy but when i sneak up behind a guy and hold B to do the lethal take down everyone hears it and they come running. I know you can knock them out quietly but i want to kill them. I've sunk around thirty hours into Deus Ex and I am loving it currently. I was curious, I think I have just finished the Montreal lever in the Picus building. I held off the guards and am about to board the train. I was curious how far into the game I am at this point? Personally I loved the game, as did a lot of people.
Cons: load times can be a bit long, and that is pretty much the only bad thing
Pros:There is almost always more than one way to your destination, you just have to find it. And the storyline is very intriguing.

Deus ex human revolution error on xp?
i bought my copy from a retail shop and the problem is whenever i click on the deus ex human revolution.exe file i get the error (the application failed to initialize properly 0xc0000005).so what could be the issue,a fix would be very much appreciated.Deus ex human revolution error on xp?

How do I get my Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC in the game?
I bought Deus Ex: Human Revolution and it came with a "Tactical Enhancement Pack" DLC and I downloaded it and when I started the game, at the menu it came up that the DLC was added but when I loaded my saved game, I didn't have any of the stuff and nobody came up telling me where to get it...Please help...How do I get my Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC in the game?
I think it only gets added to new games. I know I got codes for several things with mine and the paperwork said you have to have a new game started after the dlc

I think it must have been the result of physical evolution, which is to say a real change in how the brain functions.
The fact is even the most culturally deprived modern humans create art and stuff, yet there is no evidence of humans doing anything like that before then.The "human revolution" is said to have occurred around 40,000 years ago?
I think the lack of villages, and writing were probably to blame for the delay.
Today, we have houses, fire, ample food, books, songs, poems, etc. And we forget that there was a time when these things didn't exist.
Also, you have to remember that although all humans have the ability to be intelligent, we do not all reach this goal. It takes a great mind to think up a new idea--and then other great minds have to develop them.
Today, someone invents something and before a year goes by it has been honed and perfected. But in a world where there are no villages, or writing, and where people have to devote most of their time to hunting and gathering--a great idea can go generations before it finds another great mind to develop it.
The wheel didn't come into existence until the Romans. Perspective drawing didn't come into existence until the Renaissance. THATS A LONG TIME!! And the wheel is sort of a simple concept.

If your short, brutal, unforgiving life is totally encompassed in hunting and gathering, you don't have a lot of free time for leisure, contemplation, art, etc.
Here's what happened...
1. We came out of the trees, already a social primate.
2. Being a social primate meant that there was a hierarchy (pecking order if you will). Today we call it "morality" - acting correctly!
NOTE: Our basic modus operandi is - SPOIL OUR NEST AND MOVE ON! That is the basis of Human Nature...
3. Those at the top of the hierarchy knew what was needed to continue life, and to teach children to overcome nature's vicissitudes through rules embedded in their culture (all that is not physical about us, including language for example)...
4. Those that didn't obey the rules ended up dying before they procreated. They wandered away from the fire at night, they decided they could "jump off a cliff", they just didn't make it for whatever reason.
5. This means that rule followers and rule givers are what came out of that, over time.
6.The cultural rules allowed some groups to be more successful than others.
7. Picture this: our group followed some migratory animals, and had a route we took each year.
We spoiled our nest, just in time to move on. One year, we find another rather successful tribe was camping under OUR walnut tree. We realized, to get OUR walnuts, we'd need to kill the men, enslave the women, and coopt the children. Our tribe figured out how to kill at a distance, by throwing rocks and pointed sticks...
8. Over time, we dispersed, from our original homeland in East Africa, the pressure of successful tribes forcing tribes at the periphery to move out...and forcing them to adopt techologies to overcome natural limits.
9. For example, Inuit (aka Eskimos) didn't EVOLVE in the Arctic, but they did have 23 names for different types of snow and at least that many uses for human urine. In that environment, even waste is a huge resource...
10. So, we continued to drive, using our culture (read - technology), to be successful in every ecological niche on the planet.
11. We are the ultimate Alien Invader species!
12. So, by the time 40,000 years ago came along, we were forced into environments such as the Middle east, Australia, Northern Europe, etc.
13. And via technology, we had a bit more free time, no longer running from lions tigers and bears, now capable of driving a mammoth to it's knees, and building houses out of its bones!
14. Recently, in the past 1000 years or so, our technology has disrupted nature, not simply over come natural limits. The Roman need for ships meant that the forest that covered North Africa were cut down. And, the desertification spread into what we see today.
15. These days our technology does far more that overcome nature. It is overwhelming nature.
Yesterday I read that 25% of the plants on Planet Earth are endangered.
We are far more than 6,000,000,000 individuals on the planet. Over the next FORTY (40) years we will grow to over 9,000,000,000.
How many plants will be left by then?
And, yes, there was continued physical evolution, albeit not dramatic.
The point is, since Humans were around 100,000 years ago, you'd be able to breed with them even today...
We spoiled our nest, but there is no where left to go. Even near-Earth orbit has so much man-made space trash that NASA is nervous that servicing the Hubble Telescope was almost too dangerous to attempt...
We will, in our blind greed and individual self serving interest, destroy that which feeds us.
The irony is that we'll watch ourselves doing this, documenting it, and powerless to stop ourselves.
